Eligibility Criteria for NGEL Recruitment 2026

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification site experience in the Power Sector, including any training period. This must include at least 6 years in a grid-connected Solar and/or Wind Project, working in Operation and Maintenance or Asset Management.
Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade)
Qualification: A full-time graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) with at least 60% marks from an accredited Indian University/Institute. Candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories who possess passing marks are also eligible to apply.
Experience: A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification executive-level experience in the Power Sector, including any training period. At least 10 years must be with a Renewable Energy Developer of Solar and/or Wind Projects, which necessitates a minimum of 2 years of site experience on a grid-connected project with a capacity of 50 MW or greater in Construction, Erection, or Commissioning.
Government/PSU candidates applying for the E-6 level must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the pay scale of ₹80,000-₹2,20,000 (IDA E-5 Grade or higher) as of January 1, 2017.
