- According to GAD circular F-7-46/99/A.P./One (Bhopal, 07.11.2000), only those reserved-category candidates who qualify strictly on merit, equivalent to general category candidates, are selected for unreserved (open) posts.
- As per GAD circular C/3-2/97/3/One (Bhopal, 10.02.1997), if there is a lack of qualified women candidates for women-reserved posts, those positions may be filled by male candidates from the same category.
- The results declared are subject to the outcome of pending cases in the Supreme Court (SLP No. 8764/2023, SLP No. 12398/2023) and various writ petitions in the High Court.
- Out of the 112 main positions, 25 were assigned for the disabled category (Divyang). Due to a lack of eligible candidates, 11 positions under Hearing Impaired remain unfilled and will not shift to the unreserved category due to sufficient candidates already available in that category.
