Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Entering a name or date of birth that does not match the Class X certificate.

  • Submitting several forms by mistake. Only the latest one is kept.
  • Uploading unclear certificates or skipping a required document.
  • Waiting until 28 October, when payment gateways and servers tend to be busy.
  • Guessing wildly in the MCQ test, where each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks.

Preparation Tips

  • Study the judiciary provisions of the Constitution, the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 and the 1961 Service Rules. Together they make up 35 of the 100 questions.
  • Practise English typing on a computer every day, aiming well above 35 wpm with very few errors.
  • Write timed précis and essays in English to prepare for the 2-hour descriptive paper.
  • Revise basic computer knowledge, which carries 15 questions.
  • Remember that every stage has a minimum score (50/25/50/13), so a weak stage cannot be made up by a strong one.
